Ego shooters are like Deer Hunter,Trophy Hunter and anything that involves shooting galleries. By the way,I have Cabelas Pro Hunts and its not an ego shooter. I am on console and the population seems very different than PC.even by watching on videos you can tell. Hell at this point if I could swat away bugs to pass time and not get bored it would be better. Even hunting in real life you at least usually see something.in this "GAME" I am lucky if I can at least hear birds. Even with perks (which a simulation would not have btw) ,scents and cover there was nothing. I have literally done a test and left my game on and sat watching it for 10 hours straight in what should be high traffic areas for wildlife and saw nothing. In a dedicated simulation I am pretty sure there is no fast travel or respawning with stats carrying over. Also, this is an arcade simulation "GAME". Some areas are always dead, sitting in those areas using scents and calls still have no effect either. At least in real life I would see something like a squirrel or birds. The game has no immersion without some type of movement from wildlife. If you wanna have an Hunting Ego Shooter play Cabelas Big Hunter Pro. Users could create a Jump and Run or Ego Shooter out of TheHunter. No, in my oppinion nothing, regarding to increasing/decreasing animal population by user is a good Idea. The weather is always different, the traces are always different, the calls, the animals way of walking, of reacting for a shot, or when the recognize the hunter, and and and. And that is good, because it is a Hunting SIMULATION, and each time you go hunting is diffirent, like it is in reality. If you remember, in TheHunter there isn't any difficulty level. This is a Hunting Simulation, and increasing or decreasing animal population in my eyes is not the thing of Users.
